Basmati Rice Treasures

Garnishing Ingredients:
100g fried diced sausages
2 cup diced pineapple cubes
1 cup dice cucumber
1 cup diced tomatoes
½ cup crispy chicken floss (optional)
½ cup crispy fried shallots
Ingredients:
4 cups TAJ Basmati rice
3 slices fresh pineapple
1 stalk coriander
2 tablespoon butter
4 ½ cups hot chicken broth (Low sodium)
1 tablespoon GOLDEN CIRCLE Sunflower oil
1 teaspoon fine sugar
Rice Seasoning:
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
3/4 teaspoon Curry powder
Directions:
1. Wash rice and soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain the soaked rice thoroughly. Add in rice seasoning ingredients and set aside.
2. Put the seasoned rice, sliced pineapple, a sprig of coriander, sugar and hot chicken broth into the rice cooker. Press “normal” cooking mode to cook. Once ready, leave it for another 5 minutes before fluffing with the fork.
4. Heat Wok. Add in sunflower oil and pan fry the diced Chinese sausages until aromatic. Sprinkle garlic powder and drizzle with some water. Add in the cooked Taj Basmati rice and the garnishing ingredients and toss together until it is well mixed.
5. Serve and garnish with chicken floss and crispy shallots.
