Basmati Chicken Rice

Rice Seasonings:
1 packet chicken rice paste
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon sugar
Garnishing Ingredients:
½ cup crispy fried shallots
Ingredients:
4 cups TAJ Basmati rice
4 thick slices cucumber
1 stalk serai
4 cloves garlic (mashed)
4 tablespoon butter
5 ½ cups hot chicken broth
Directions:
1. Wash rice and soak washed rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain soaked rice thoroughly. Add in rice seasoning ingredients and mix well.
2. Put the rice, sliced cucumbers, a sprig of coriander, sugar and the rest of the seasoning ingredients into the rice cooker. Add in the hot chicken broth and press “Normal” cook mode. Once ready, leave cooked rice for another 5 minute before fluffing with the fork.
3. Serve and garnish with crispy shallots.
